the market
Early entries into this app market are dominated by programmers and game developers. Consumer games tend to lead the applications due to the mass appeal and large market. Apple has so far paid over $3 billion to these early developers. Annual app sales are estimated to be $25-$38 billion by 2015. This will be larger than the annual movie and music industries combined.

The tablet market is only a year and a half old and is already changing our lives in ingenious ways. Due to the complexity of personal computers, the transition to using digital content to improve education in schools has been slow to say the least.
